Sid Ghatak is the Founder and Chief Data Officer of Increase Alpha. Sid's unique approach to solving the most complex problems is to always focus on the customer first and then align the optimal combination of people, processes, technologies, and data to craft solutions that exceed his client's expectations.
A completely self-taught technologist, Sid is an accomplished executive, consultant, professor and author having published over 43 works on the topics of Advanced Analytics, Data Visualization, Data Strategy, Business Intelligence, Artificial Intelligence, and Internet of Things for Accenture Academy. Sid designed, developed, and taught the three semester Masters Program In Business Intelligence for Villanova University. A compelling and engaging presenter, Sid has spoken at conferences across North America, Europe, Latin America, and Africa on these and many other topics related to data, analytics, finance, process improvement, and change management. He was retained by The Federal Reserve System to teach the 80 most senior finance officers best practices in forecasting.
His client work ranges from developing the leading strategic analytic tool used by every global investment bank, analytics solutions predicting customer behavior, enterprise-wide planning and reporting systems as well as pre- and post-merger integration. As a technology leader, Sid has transformed businesses through the deployment of Enterprise Resource Planning systems, Customer Relationship Management systems, Subscription Management Systems, Learning Management Systems, Content Management Systems, Advanced Analytics Systems, Data Warehouses, Business Intelligence Systems and Performance Dashboards.
Sid earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of Michigan while on a full scholarship. He completed Post Graduate work in Finance and Strategy from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. A firm believer in continuing education, he has also completed coursework at Northwestern University and George Washington University. He also has completed securities training and has earned both a Series 7 and 63.
When not solving his clients' problems, Sid can be found with his three children on road trips showing them the beauty that exists in the world. On Saturdays in the fall, he can be found cheering on his beloved Michigan Wolverines and always believes that this is their year. He resides in Virginia.

david warren, vice-president
David Warren is Vice President of Increase Alpha’s consulting operations. He is directly involved in business development and continuing to grow Increase Alpha’s financial services and business process outsourcing (BPO) consulting footprint in the healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, real estate, retail and travel & hospitality industries. He works directly with the Client Partner in growing and overseeing service delivery and is responsible for overseeing high quality delivery while developing strategies and tactics for further penetrating client accounts and cross selling Increase Alpha’s emerging services.
Mr. Warren also has over 10 years of expertise as a structured finance banking professional - originating, underwriting and managing structured finance and private equity investments. He has advised Sr. Executives and Private Equity investors across numerous industries on a wide range of VC, strategic growth, divestiture, and capital raising initiatives. In addition Mr. Warren has invested personal private equity into a portfolio of private equity transactions, having taken an active investor approach by improving operations and substantially growing revenues.
David earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-law from Missouri State University and his Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Chicago. He also has completed the Executive Finance course – continuing education at the Wharton School of Business.
