Sid is an amazing advisor and service partner. He has an outstanding business acumen and thinks strategically. Sid partnered with me to deploy a global enterprise planning solution for Thomson Reuters and did a remarkable job. From planning, to design through execution, Sid was relentless in his efforts to make this program successful and well accepted across the business. Sid thinks like a customer and clearly understands the business outcomes that are important to his customers. I highly endorse and recommend Sid Ghatak and his firm.

In my time at the Performance Institute, I can truly say that Sid Ghatak is truly one of the most intelligent and consummate professionals I have ever worked with. This sentiment is shared by our customers and the fellow consultants that we’ve hired to work alongside him. His profound insight into strategy and finance is only further accentuated by the cutting-edge expertise he exhibits when helping companies integrate leading practices into their processes. Sid’s expertise has been utilized to lead workshops and training on topics such as BI, finance strategy, analytics and rolling forecasts. Not only has he delivered results for our customers but he understands how to communicate these complex topics in such a way that virtually any professional within their respective field can translate the information into practical application. Thus, I recommend Sid Ghatak for any opportunity in which a company or organization is serious about achieving a high level of performance.

Sid is one of those rare IT guys that really gets finance. Wait, maybe he one of those rare finance guys that also speaks IT? Either way, Sid would make be a stellar CIO or CFO at most any mid-sized company. Perhaps it's his combined technical and business acumen that enable Sid to take an academic approach to his approach educating business leaders on topics ranging from designing Business Intelligence systems to making the transition to rolling forecasts. When the ASMI asked me to find a speaker to replace the great David Axson on the topic of rolling forecasts, it was no small task. When I first spoke with Sid, I knew we had our guy. Afterall, he was a Cognos consultant of the year! Sid went on to lead a series of 2-day workshops with groups of 20-40 FP&A professionals. I was also lucky enough to convince Sid to speak with Rand Heer on the intersection of technology with FP&A in the 21st century at an IE Group conference in Palo Alto.
